This was my first and only attempt to draw a transformer. It went way better than I anticipated.

I drew this back in…um, some time in the 2000s…anyway, it was an entry for the Monthly Gargoyles Contest. The only rule was to use crayons to color the piece and, of course, it had to relate the T.V. show. I like the pattern I put on Meg’s wings, but I wish I had done something cool with Jack’s. And I forgot his tail! Oops. I think this one deserves a re-coloring in PS—something more neon and bright. Thoughts?

designer monday: lost posters

Okay, so if you’re a Lost fan, then you probably already have seen these posters by Mattson Creative, so I won’t have to go into how great they are. But I’m now thinking how great they would be for my soon-to-be-child’s room. A little scary? Probably. But the kid won’t be able to see past 12 inches in front of their face for the first few months anyway. And if they do get scared of the posters, well, then I will happily put them in my room.

Lovely Little Bird update!

I’ve edited the site a little bit in an effort to make tracking all of my transactions a little easier on me. Now all items (since I’m not selling a huge variety) are listed on the homepage so you can see what’s for sale as soon as you visit the page. Clicking on an image will take you directly to the items Etsy page for purchase! Yay!

I set out determined to crochet this cool, 60′s-ish throw for the holidays…

Pretty nice WIP, eh? Well, its still waiting to fulfill its Christmas destiny. The pattern is really good and easy to follow (got it from Crochet Today! magazine). When I got bored of crocheting the snowflake part, I would switch to the blue hexagon part and weave the ends together. I guess I got a little bored with both parts
